This show is now sold out – thank you for your support of storytelling, SLC!
Tickets for our March show (theme TBA) will go on sale the third Friday of February. If you'd like to be on our email list and get invitations & announcements, sign up here.
Join us for an evening of lovingly competitive storytelling! Ten storytellers picked at random from a hat have five minutes each to tell a true story on the theme of the night without notes.
The theme of the night this time is The Office: stories of the 9-5 grind, working hard and hardly working, getting hired and fired, the best and worst bosses, employees and coworkers, management and HR.
Bring your friends. Have a drink. Laugh. Cry. Bee entertained.
6pm Doors. 7pm Stories. $18. 21+ event.
Musical guest Talia Keys will serenade us before stories and during intermission.
This will be our first show at The Clubhouse on South Temple, the historic building formerly known as The Ladies' Literary Club! It is GORGEOUS and we are so excited to call it our new home!
Tickets are general admission and seating will be available for ALL guests.
Do YOU have a story to tell? SLC wants to hear it!
If you'd like the chance to tell a story about working in an office, about never working in an office, working for (or being) the world's best (or worst) boss, hiring and firing, cubicles or water coolers, coming in early, staying late, loving it, hating it, etc., write to us to put your name in the hat and we'll send you some friendly advice for preparing to take the stage.
We're trying something new with food this time!
Order a tasty meal from a local restaurant with your tickets and pick it up when you arrive the night of the show to enjoy before stories or during intermission. This month we're featuring Laziz Kitchen!
Laziz Kitchen Dinner #1 Hummus Wrap
Hummus wrapped in bread with avocado, greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, mint, and pickles. Vegan.
Laziz Kitchen Dinner #2 Fried Cauliflower Wrap
Fried cauliflower and potatoes wrapped in bread with tomatoes, green onion, parsley, pickles, and tarator tahini dressing. Vegan.
Please note: Adding dinner is TOTALLY optional! If you purchased tickets without dinner (for whatever reason) or you're on the guest list for the show, you have until Saturday, January 28th at midnight to place an order. We won't be able to accept orders after the deadline or sell meals the night of the show. If you have any further questions about how this dinner option will work, please get in touch.
** Our venue is not especially wheelchair accessible so please let us know in advance if you require any particular accommodation. **
