Join the Utah Chapter of The Sierra Club, Utah Physicians for a Healthy Environment, HEAL Utah and The Bee for a climate-themed storytelling workshop. Learn how to become an effective climate messenger, as we network and craft our personal narratives, expressing why climate matters for each of us.

Climate Matters: The Power of Personal Narrative
Wednesday, October 11th, 6:00 - 9:00 PM
Clubhouse on South Temple (850 East S. Temple, SLC, UT 84102)

FREE, but space is limited so please register below to claim your place!

The evening will start at 6:00pm with a half hour to socialize over some snacks. Mingle with staff and volunteers of the hosting organizations, and learn more about our campaigns to address climate change in Utah.

At 6:30 PM, participate in an interactive workshop, led by Giuliana Serena of The Bee. Don't miss this opportunity to hone your skills as a storyteller as she shares how to harness the power of our personal stories to effect change.

Finally, participants will be invited to record their stories on video and audio as part of a partnership with Spy Hop and team of youth filmmakers (don't worry if you're camera shy, this part is totally optional). Share your story on social media and we can spread the word that Utahns fight for climate justice!

This event is hosted as part of the Utah Climate Week series of events, in partnership with the Utah Climate Action Network.
