"The Great Outdoors" Storytelling Workshop
6-8pm TUESDAY, JULY 10th 2018 @ Park City Public Library
Have you got a story to tell about The Great Outdoors? Hone your story and your telling skills in this participatory workshop.
An intensive combination of guided writing prompts, oral storytelling exercises, and practical instruction will help you in crafting a short story from your life to share on stage at PCPL's Storymine Live Event on August 2nd – or just for fun!
Facilitators Giuliana Serena and Nan Seymour of The Bee are experts at providing encouragement and creating brave space for people to be themselves together. Participants of all experience levels are welcome - even if you don't consider yourself to be a "storyteller" at all!
There is no cost to participate, however pre-registration is required. Space is limited and we do anticipate filling up. Reserve your place by completing the form below.
Presented in partnership with the Park City Public Library and supported in part by Park City Toastmasters..

REGISTRATION: ** UPDATE: Registration is full ** These workshops are open to the public (adults & mature teens) free of charge thanks to the Park City Public Library. Space is limited and we do anticipate filling up.
TIMING: 6-8pm Tuesday, July 10th. This workshop is highly participatory and beginning & ending together is essential. Please plan sufficient time to arrive, find parking and our room (on the 3rd floor), and stay through until the end. Our doors will open 15 minutes before our official start time.
PLEASE BRING: A favorite pen, a notebook if desired, a water bottle, and most importantly of all - a willingness to participate imperfectly. If you already have a story in mind about an experience you had in "the great outdoors" that's great! If not, we'll help you find one to work on.
